Charlotte, NC (WTVA) -- Salsarita's has announced a development agreement to open 10 restaurants in Mississippi over the next five years.
The company will work with developer J. C. Clark, who was a leading franchisee for McAlister's Deli.
Salsarita's is a Fresh Mexican Cantina chain with 80 locations in 19 states.
Officials say they will focus on north Mississippi including Tupelo, Oxford, and Desoto County.
They add no definite sites have been secured for the expansion.
Salsarita's officials say the first two restaurants are expected to open in 2013.
