LAFAYETTE CO., Miss. (WTVA) -- A man reported missing in Lafayette County on Sunday, June 9, has been found dead.
According to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department, deputies recovered the body of a black man in the West Spring Hill area on Tuesday, June 11.
The victim's name is not being released at this time.
The body has been sent to the State Medical Office in Jackson for an autopsy and identification.
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department has issued two murder warrants for Anthony Darrel Smith of Abbeville, and Alison Raynetta Alexander of Champagne, Illinois.
