OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- The theft of a laptop from a home in Oxford landed one man in jail just hours after it was reported.
Police Chief Joey East says Labeb Haimed of Oxford is charged with possession of stolen property.
East says they had received a report a laptop computer had been taken from a home on Martin Luther King Drive.
Officers and investigators said Haimed had the computer in his possession at the time of his arrest.
His bond was set at $5,000.
