OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) _ A federal judge has granted a defense request to delay the trial of a man accused of making online threats to attack Oxford High School.
Joshua Brandon Pillault, 20, was scheduled to go on trial on Feb. 25 in U. S. District Court in Oxford.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges earlier this year.
Pillault is accused of making the threats while playing the online game "Runescape.''
Court records show the threats were made about Oxford High School where Pillault is a former student.
The indictment says he mentioned acquiring guns, ammunition magazines, Molotov cocktails, and pipe bombs and using them to level the school.
In an order signed Tuesday, the new trial date is set for April 8.
