OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- A former mayor of Oxford has died.
Pat Lamar passed away Monday in Oxford at age 71.
City officials say she served as mayor from 1997 to 2001.
before that, she served as an alderman in Oxford for 12 years.
Funeral services are Friday, September 28 at 3:00 p.m. at the Oxford University United Methodist Church.
