Another guilty plea in enticement investigation

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Lafayette County man has pleaded guilty to federal charges of attempting to meet a minor for sex.

Brandon Matthew Oliver, 37, of Oxford entered a guilty plea Thursday afternoon in U. S. District Court in Oxford.

Oliver was indicted by a federal grand jury in March on charges of enticement of a minor for sexual purposes.

He was among several people arrested during an investigation conducted by federal authorities and Tupelo police.

Oliver will be sentenced at a later date.
