ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) -
A Fulton man has died in a two vehicle wreck Wednesday morning just south of Fulton.The Mississippi Highway Patrol says they were called to the scene on Highway 25 around 8:15 a.m.Authorities say it appears 76-year-old Willie Grimes of Fulton was apparently trying to make a U-turn and pulled into the path of an SUV traveling north.Officials say Grimes was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center where he later died.Authorities say the driver of the SUV, 64-year-old Joe Tanner of Fulton, suffered moderate injuries.
Officials say both were wearing seatbelts.
The wreck remains under investigation.
