CAROLINA, Miss. (WTVA) — Law enforcement said a man is under arrest after he briefly held a couple of females hostage at a home in Carolina Friday evening.
It happened on Palmer Road.
Itawamba County Sheriff Chris Dickinson said the females escaped from the home without injury.
Dickinson added the man was drunk and fired shots in the empty home.
Deputies eventually took the man into custody without anyone getting hurt.
His name and the charges against him have not yet been released.
