FULTON, Miss. (WTVA/LetsGoICC.com) - Sophomore Tre' Wells (Tuscaloosa, AL) closed out his final season at Itawamba Community College with a career-best night and earned Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College (MACJC) Player of the Week honors for his effort in the Indians' 78-57 win over Mississippi Delta Community College.

"This is a great honor for Tre'," said ICC head coach Grant Pate. "It's a testimony to all the hard work and dedication our sophomores put into the season and for him to be named Player of the Week honors is an extra special way to for him to close out his career."

The 6'6" center turned in career-high performances in scoring (18), rebounding (15), assists (3), and blocks (3) as he connected on 7-of-11 from the floor, including hitting 3-of-5 three-point attempts, and made 1-of-2 attempts from the free throw line on the night.

Wells is the third ICC basketball player to earn MACJC Player of the Week honors along with fellow sophomores in Lady Indians two-time winner Ty-Nita Baker (Houston) and Ayanna Lynn (Indianola).
