FULTON, Miss. (WTVA) -- The American Association of Community College Trustees have selected a local school president as the Southern Region CEO of 2012.
The association has selected Dr. David Cole of ICC for the honor.
Cole has served as the president of the Fulton-based school since 1993.
The school has over 14,000 students enrolled annually, and assists nearly 50,000 workers each year with job training programs.
As the regional award recipient, he will be one of the finalist for the national Marie Y. Martin Chief Executive Officer award.
The winner will be announced during the ACCT Annual Awards Gala on October 12 in Boston, Massachusetts.
