Disaster Center to close in Itawamba County

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency says its Disaster Recover Center in Itawamba County will close this week.

FEMA says residents have until 6 p.m. on Friday to visit the center, located at 265 Tishtontee Drive in Mantachie.

New schedules for the remaining centers will take effect on Thursday.

The following contains a list of locations and revised hours for the eight centers:

Itawamba County

265 Tishtontee Drive in Mantachie

8a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, May 23.

Will close Friday.

Rankin County

601 Marquette Road in Brandon

8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, May 23.

Will close Friday.

Jones County

1425 Ellisville Boulevard in Laurel

8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through May 21.

After May 21, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, closed Sundays.

Lee County

320 Court Street in Tupelo

8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, closed Sundays.

Lowndes County

222 Lawrence Dr. and 381 Stadium Road in Columbus.

8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, closed Sundays.

Wayne County

810 Chickasawhay Street in Waynesboro

8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, closed Sundays.

Winston County

826 S. Church Avenue in Louisville

8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, closed Sundays.
