JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Grenada man has lost his attempt to have his appeal heard in the state's highest court.

Sam Green, 27, is serving a 25 year sentence for armed robbery.

He was convicted by a Grenada County jury for the October 7, 2008 robbery of the Pacesetter Conoco convenience store.

Green claims two people who testified against him provided unreliable testimony about his involvement in the robbery.

He also claims the sentence went against the weight of the evidence presented at Trial.

On Thursday, The Mississippi Supreme Court refused to review his appeal.
