Police chief to retire

GRENADA, Miss. (WTVA) -- The man who oversees the operations of the Grenada Police Department says it's time to retire.

Police Chief James Fox notified city leaders of his intention in a letter last week.

Mayor Billy Collins tells WTVA.com Fox has served as a law enforcement officer for 37 years.

Fox's last day of work will be June 29th.
