MAGNOLIA, Miss. (AP) -- Jury selection will begin Monday in the trial of a 26-year-old man accused of killing a woman in 2009.

The Enterprise-Journal reports jury selection will take place in Grenada County in the trial of Kendrick Cowart, who was charged with murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery in the July 11, 2009, slaying of Peggy Sue Wilkinson Carter.

After jury selection, the trial will be held at the Pike County courthouse in Magnolia.

Two co-defendants have already pleaded guilty in the case.

Terrance London, 28, pleaded guilty to manslaughter, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Tecory Wade, 23, pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact of murder and armed robbery. Neither has been sentenced.

Testimony is expected to start Tuesday.
