GREENWOOD, Miss. (WTVA) — A man was taken to a hospital after his sport utility vehicle flipped several times on Interstate 55 south of Grenada Sunday.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says 61-year-old Donald Lee of Olive Branch was heading north on the interstate when his vehicle struck the guardrail on the right shoulder.

Firefighters had to cut him out of his Chevy Tahoe.

Trooper Tony Dunn says Lee was taken to Grenada Lake UMC Medical Center with moderate injuries.
