Grenada police investigate Monday shooting incident

GRENADA, Miss. (WTVA) -- Grenada police are looking for a suspect in connection with a shooting Monday night in the city.

Captain George Douglas says Shaun Hosey, 34, of Grenada was taken the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada after he was shot in the abdomen.

Hosey told authorities he was in the parking lot of Club Exclusive around 10:30 p.m. when he was shot, but walked to a nearby home to get help.

He was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.

Douglas says so far no arrest has been made.
