WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) -- Mississippi Department of Public Safety officials announce the West Point drivers' license station will be closed until further notice due to what one official calls "infrastructure issues with the county-owned building."
DPS spokesperson Warren Strain said the station will not reopen until the computer infrastructure within the building is replaced.
Strain said those who need those services can drive to locations in Columbus, Starkville or Amory.
Only Amory's location is open one day a week, on Wednesdays; the other two are Monday through Friday.
No timetable has been given for when the West Point location will reopen.
