WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) -- Ever hear of "Sacred Secret Santa?"

That's the name a West Point lady loves to go by this time of year.

Darlene Cox loves to reach out to children in the West Point area with toys.

Cox says she began giving toys 8 years ago after losing weight.

For every pound she lost, she would give a child a toy.

She may be at her ideal weight now, but the number of gifts has grown to five hundred.

"We've got so many homeless children right here in West Point and I think it's gonna be a great impact on them.  Just one toy and one bike will make a big difference," Darlene Cox said.

Cox says she was given the name "Sacred Secret Santa" after surviving a health crisis.
