Police make arrests in home burglary

CLAY CO., Miss. (WTVA) -- The Clay County Sheriff’s Department has arrested two men from West Point in connection with a home burglary that occurred in August.

Charlie Jones, 26, and John D. Cook, 23, are both charged with burglary of a dwelling on Mhoon Valley Road in Western Clay County.

Clay County Sheriff’s Department investigators recovered guns, knives and a bow and arrow that were taken in the burglary.

Jones and Cook have been arraigned in Clay County Justice Court with a $25,000 bond set for each.
