WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) -- Two men face charges after authorities say a search of a Clay County home turned up crack cocaine and prescription narcotics.
Sheriff Eddie Scott says agents search the home on Colony Road Thursday morning.
He says agents seized crack cocaine, hydrocodone, oxycoden, cash, two vehicles, a trailer, and a weapon during the search.
Scott says John Henry Moye, 41, who lived at the home, is charged with two counts of sale of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Meldon Evans, 54, of Houston is charged with possession of cocaine.Both men are currently being held in the Clay County Detention Center.
The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics assisted in the investigation.
