WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) — A West Point man faces charges after he crashed his car into a house and parked cars New Year's Eve night.

Police Chief Tim Brinkley says Latterishurn Robinson, 25, was driving on North Division Street when he apparently lost control and hit a utility pole.

The car then hit a house and a parked car, but carried enough momentum it hit the house a second time before coming to a stop.

Three people inside the home were not injured, but Robinson was hospitalized at NMMC - West Point.

Brinkley says the car and home suffered major damage in the accident.

Robinson is charged with DUI, reckless driving, no insurance and driving with a suspended license.

Brinkley says they also have outstanding warrants on previous charges against Robinson.
