UNA, Miss. (WTVA) -- The eighth annual Una Community Fun Festival was held Friday-Saturday.

Saturday's activities included a number of competitions such as hula-hooping and hot pepper eating.

All day long there were giveaways for t-shirts, cash and other prizes.

Each year, the goal behind the festival is to get the community to come closer together.

This year, the festival's theme was: Don't Count Me Out.

"The reason we don't want you to count us out is because we always put God first," Clay County District Four Supervisor Shelton Deanes said. "If you put God first, you won't be counted out. We believe in Christ."
