WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) -- Weekend arrests by the Clay County Sheriff’s Department resulted in the confiscation of five illegal gambling machines and over 450 containers of alcohol.
Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated that on Friday, December 15, Clay County Sheriff Deputies arrested Ryan Robinson of Cleveland, Miss.
Robinson was charged with disorderly conduct and selling beer without license/permit.
This arrest occurred at Club Hollywood on Berry Road in Pheba.
The following night on Saturday, December 16, Clay County Sheriff deputies arrested the owner of Club Exclusive, located on Hwy 46 in western Clay County, Selina Nabors of Woodland.
Nabors was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm on club property, five counts of possession of gambling devices and selling beer without a permit.
Also arrested were Willie Richardson of Macon, charged with one count of gambling.
Robinson and Nabors are facing additional charges as well.
Glen Chandler of Woodland was arrested for disorderly conduct.
All arrested individuals have posted bond and are currently awaiting their initial court appearance in Clay County Justice Court.
