Bond set for women charged with murder

WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) -- Bond has been set at $2 million each for three woman charged in the stabbing death of a man over the weekend in West Point.

Police Chief Tim Brinkley says bond was sent for Natisha Latoria Roby, 24, Latwanna Santric Roby, 27, both of Macon, and Shunbrica Andrea Roby, 22, of Columbus.

He says the woman are charged with murder in the death of Marcus Payne, 26, of Hamilton.

Brinkley says Payne was stabbed in the chest in the parking lot of the One Stop Deli on North Division Street around 11:30 Saturday night.

He died after being airlifted to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Brinkley says investigators have determined why the four people were in West Point, but would not release specific details involving the case.
