JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) — The Mississippi Department of Public Safety has issued a Silver Alert for a man from Ackerman who left on a road trip for Canada on July 18.
76-year-old James William Sunn was heading to British Columbia in a white 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck with the Mississippi license plate CT2-435.
A news release from the agency says the truck has a camper shell with a green canoe on top.
Sunn stands 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a plaid, sleeveless shirt.
Anyone who knows James William Sunn's whereabouts is asked to call the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation at (601) 987-1530.
