HOUSTON, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Angel Tree Program in Houston has 115 children.

All but 10-15 children have been adopted this year.

But you can help by calling the Salvation Army.

"Just say you'd like to adopt an angel, and we will get you set up to do that. And you can pick up your card up, and it tells you what to do and when to drop off, and it tells you their ages and sizes," said director Trisha Finn.

The process of finding folks to adopt angels is a big task, but organizers say it's well worth it.

"I take the angels to local churches, and they adopt the angels, and they sign the card showing which angel they got. Then they have a drop off date, and anyone who doesn't get dropped off, we call them and say, 'Do we need to pick them up or what do we need to do?' so the families can pick them up," said Finn.

And they feel confident that through people's generosity, these children will have a merry Christmas.

You can adopt an angel from the Houston Salvation Army by calling 662-456-0070.
