OKOLONA, Miss. (WTVA) -- An Okolona man has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of disaster fraud.
Ronnie G. Beard entered the plea Tuesday afternoon in U. S. District Court in Oxford.
A federal indictment says Beard filed a fradulent disaster claim on a home in Okolona following the tornado in April of 2011.
Beard faces a maximum of $250,000 and 30 years in prison.
He will be sentenced at a later date.
