CHICKASAW COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - A pursuit by law enforcement in Chickasaw County ends after the driver wrecked.
Chief Deputy Jim Myers say the chase began around 11:30 Monday night on Highway 47 near McCondy.
He says authorities had stopped Larry Guido, 28, on warrants.
Myers says Guido did not get out of the vehicle and he drove away from officers.
He says about five miles after the high-speed chase began, Guido's vehicle crashed and he was ejected from the vehicle.
Myers says Guido was transported to the North Mississippi Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.
