JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) — State and local law enforcement have arrested a woman from Okolona charged with insurance fraud.
The arrest of 38-year-old Lakisha Forshee came Wednesday after a Chickasaw County grand jury indicted her on four counts of insurance fraud and two counts of wire fraud.
The Mississippi Attorney General's Office says Forshee is accused of filing false insurance claims and receiving $4,136.
If convicted, she could get up to 16 years behind bars.
