CALHOUN CITY, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Calhoun City woman has been arrested in what authorities call the worst case of child abuse they have ever witnessed.
Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says deputies arrested Tiffany Tubberville, 30, at a home on Edmondon Street Tuesday.
He says the Department of Human Services asked his department to assist with the removal of four children from the home.
Pollan says four children between the ages of six months to five years were in the home.
He says a two-year-old had signs of being severely beaten.
Tubberville is currently in the Calhoun County jail on a $500,000 bond.
The children are in the custody of DHS.
Pollan says the investigation continues and more charges could be filed.
