VARDAMAN, Miss. (WTVA) -- Vardaman Police are asking for the public's help to identify the person or persons responsible for vandalism at the town's post office.

Police Chief Kenny Scott tells WTVA.com a passerby noticed the vandalism Sunday afternoon around 4 p.m. and notified authorities.

Scott says the walls by the back entrance and on the east side of the building had been spray painted.

He says there was writing, including the letters TTYL.

Scott says the phrase is an internet abbreviation for "Talk to You Later".

He says they do have persons of interest in connection with the vandalism.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Vardaman Police or the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department.
