CHICKASAW COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) -- A routine traffic stop near Houston leads to the arrest of a man wanted on multiple charges from multiple counties.

Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan said John Curtis Williams, 27, of Webster County had been sought for the last two weeks.

A Chickasaw County deputy stopped Williams on Highway 15 south of Houston Saturday afternoon.

Pollan said Williams will be brought back to Calhoun County, where he will face  burglary and grand larceny charges.

He is also facing multiple charges in Yalobusha County and is wanted for questioning in Webster County regarding recent burglaries there.

The Mississippi Department of Corrections has a warrant out for Williams as well for not being in compliance with his MDOC officer.

Williams is expected to face at least nine charges in the coming days, Pollan said.
