PITTSBORO, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Poplar Springs Water Association in Calhoun County has issued a boil water notice because of a broken water main.

Association officials say the line was hit by a bulldozer.

The boil notice affects customers on and west of County Road 136.

Residents will need to boil their water for at least one minute before drinking or cooking with it.

The notice is in effect until further notice.
