PITTSBORO, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Calhoun County officials say there is a glitch with a new emergency call system being put into service.

Officials say the system, being installed today, has caused some problems for customers of TDS.

They say about 80 percent of callers from TDS has been receiving a busy signal when calling 911.

Officials say the system seems to be working normally for customers in northern Calhoun County.

Anyone who has trouble reaching the emergency dispatcher is advised to call (662) 412-3149.

Officials are working to correct the problem, but so far, have not been able to determine the cause of the glitch.
