PONTOTOC, Miss. (WTVA) -- A manhunt is underway in western Pontotoc County for two men wanted with the burglary of the Sherman Pharmacy overnight.
Sheriff Leo Mask tells WTVA.com the search is focused in the area around Pontotoc Country Club and the Natchez Trace State Park.
Mask says Sherman police responded to the break-in around two o'clock Wednesday morning and the men led officers on a high speed chase through parts of Lee and Pontotoc County.
The men abandoned the vehicle on Prewitt Road between Longview Road and Highway 6 in Pontotoc County.
Mask says they are searching on the ground and by air to locate the two men.
