ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) -- An Alcorn County woman has died following a one-vehicle wreck Friday afternoon.
Alcorn County Coroner Jay Jones said Dorothy Colston, 82, was headed east on County Road 510 when she apparently ran off the road, then overcorrected, causing her vehicle to flip and hit a ditch.
Colston was ejected from the vehicle.
Alcorn County 911 received the call at 2:11 p.m. Friday.
Jones said Colston was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple trauma.
He said Colston was not wearing a seat belt.
