CAIRO, Miss. (WTVA) — The Mississippi Highway Patrol has released the name of the truck driver hurt in a Tuesday afternoon accident that shut down a section of roadway in Prentiss County.

That driver is identified as 56-year-old Donald Johnson of Corinth.

Trooper Ray Hall says Johnson was behind the wheel of a 1991 tractor-trailer hauling gravel on Highway 356 when it overturned near Highway 365 around 3:45 p.m.

That part of the highway was closed as workers cleaned up the gravel.

The MHP says Johnson was taken to Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth with serious injuries.
