CORINTH, Miss. (WTVA) -- An investigation in Alcorn County led to the arrest of two women on Thursday.

Authorities with the Alcorn County Narcotics Unit and Corinth Police Department were attempting to locate Kelly Crowe, 31, on a warrant for absconding from drug court.

Officers say they were watching a house they were told Crowe was residing in when she left the residence in a car driven by another person.

As a result of a traffic stop, Crowe was arrested on the outstanding warrant and for possession of methamphetamine after authorities discovered she had 2.5 grams of the drug with her.

Authorities also arrested 29-year-old Erica Clark, the driver of the vehicle Crowe was in, on a warrant for absconding from the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Both Crowe and Clark are being held at the Alcorn County Justice Center. They each have a hold with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
