ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Rienzi man has entered a guilty plea to charges in a drug investigation in north Mississippi.

Eric Mills, 37, entered guilty pleas to conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and unlawful transport of a firearm.

The federal indictments accused Mills and nine other people of trying to bring substances containing measurable amounts of cocaine and marijuana to the area.

The indictment says Mills was a convicted felon and had two firearms in the possession at the time of his arrest.

He will be sentenced at a later date.
