CORINTH, Miss. (WTVA) -- Lacey Ross can't believe what's happening in what she describes as a quiet neighborhood.
That is in response to the investigation of Paul Kevin Curtis of Corinth.
He is accused in connection with potentially poisonous letters being sent in the mail.
"I never expected anything like this to happen in Corinth. I've lived here all my life," Ross said.
Next door neighbor Kayla Latch says the man who is the focus of this investigation seemed normal to her.
"All I know is he kept quiet and kept to himself most of the time and the only time I knew when he went out was on the weekends," Latch said.
"He was just very polite, seemed real mannered, stayed to himself not like a whole bunch of people in and out," Ross added.
Residents say they are worried about what may be found in Curtis's home.
"I'm worried about it, but then again I want to know what exactly is right across the street from where I'm raising my children," Ross said.
Investigators were expected to search Curtis's home with help from a hazardous materials team Thursday.
