CORINTH, Miss. (WTVA) -- The pursuit to sell wine and liquor is underway in the city of Corinth.
Police Chief David Lancaster says he has received official notification that at least one person has begun the application process with the Alcohol Beverage Control Board.
Chief Lancaster says he is aware of others who plan to do the same.
In the meantime, he has yet to determine if there will be any impact on his department once liquor and wine sales begin.
Chief Lancaster suspects there will be some changes ahead.
