JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The state auditor's office reports that an investigation into a former manager of the Crossroads Arena in Corinth will bring money back into that facility.

State Auditor Stacey Pickering's office said in a news release on Thursday that the investigation looked into misappropriations of public funds by Reggie Churchwell.

The state says Churchwell misappropriated public funds from the arena by failing to document receipts.

The auditor's office says Churchwell had the responsibility to supervise and account for all the arena's funds as its director.

The auditor's office says it has presented the Alcorn county Chancery Clerk's Office with $25,277.23 as a result of the investigation.
