CORINTH, Miss. (AP) -- Alva Dalton has resigned as vice chairman of the 7-member board that oversees the Crossroads Arena.
The Daily Corinthian reports Dalton declined to comment about his resignation.
Board members serve five-year terms. The city of Corinth and Alcorn County, which jointly own the Crossroads Arena, are each allowed three appointments to the board with one of the seven spots being jointly appointed. Dalton was a city of Corinth appointment.
Corinth Mayor Tommy Irwin said the city will fill the board seat within the next two weeks.
