CORINTH, Miss. (AP) -- The city's Board of Aldermen had adopted a budget for 2013 that makes no changes to property taxes.

The Daily Corinthian reports city employees will get a pay increase in the fiscal year that begins Oct. 1.

The raise will be 5 percent or 50 cents an hour, whichever yields the greater increase.

A separate pay proposal for sewer department employees is under discussion and will be considered at the board's meeting this coming week.

The property tax rate, including the school district, holds at 95 mills. The total budget is $9.96 million.
