CORINTH, Miss. (AP) -- The Civil War Interpretive Center in Alcorn County has had a busy summer, with visitors coming from 45 states, officials say.
The center has interactive exhibits in its 15,000 square feet of display space, 75-seat auditorium, research room and commemorative courtyard.
Supervisory Park Ranger Ashley Berry tells The Daily Corinthian more than 2,400 visitors toured the center in July, the best one-month performance since 2009.
