UPDATE: Man in custody for July shooting in Okolona

Okolona police now have a man in custody who they believe fired several shots near occupied vehicles back in July.

OKOLONA, Miss. (WTVA) - Okolona police now have a man in custody who they believe fired several shots near occupied vehicles back in July.

The man is identified as 27-year-old Christopher McIntosh.

Chickasaw County Chief Deputy Keith Roberson says McIntosh was picked up by Okolona police on Washington Court Wednesday afternoon.

Law enforcement say McIntosh was out on a felony bond in Starkville. He’s now charged with aggravated assault in Okolona.

Roberson says McIntosh is set to see a justice court judge today.
