An arrest has been made in connection with a recent church burglary in Starkville.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - An arrest has been made in connection with a recent church burglary in Starkville.

According to the Starkville Police Department,  34-year-old Jimmie McCarter of Starkville was arrested Thursday on a commercial burglary warrant.

The warrant was issued for the Saturday church burglary that happened at Aldersgate United Methodist Church on Evergreen Street.

On Wednesday, Starkville police released surveillance photos of two men believed to be connected to the incident.
