TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - The sixth annual guns versus hoses challenge took place at Buffalo Wild Wings in Tupelo Wednesday night.

Members of the Tupelo police department faced off against the city's firemen in a series of challenges all for a good cause.

The teams participated in five different games including water pong, a serving race, and finally the blazing relay, where they dared to eat the restaurant's hottest wings.

All the fun was in honor of the police department's Police Athletic League. Each team chose Tupelo police's youth program to receive a percentage of the restaurant's sales from Wednesday night.

The Tupelo fire department took home the win this year, winning four out of the five challenges.
