The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has canceled the Silver Alert issued late Sunday morning for Elix Latham, 66, of Columbus.

Law enforcement says Latham has been found and is safe.

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - State law enforcement has issued a Silver Alert for a man from Columbus.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation says Elix Latham, 66, was last seen about 6 a.m. Sunday walking in the 2400 block of Washington Avenue in Columbus.

He stands 6-feet-2-inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and is wearing gray sweat pants, a black or blue shirt, camouflage house shoes and may have a silver/gold cane.

His family says Latham suffers from a medical condition that may affect his judgment.
