One wounded, one arrested following Tupelo shooting

Police rushed to a Tupelo neighborhood Friday afternoon after hearing someone had been shot.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Police rushed to a Tupelo neighborhood Friday afternoon after hearing someone had been shot.

They showed up at North Green Street and Lockridge Street before 6 p.m. to find one person had been wounded.

Officers arrested one person in connection wth the shooting.

Witnesses tell WTVA 9 News the shooting may have stemmed from a domestic dispute.

A van was seen being hauled away from the area.
